Most people have a hard time walking into a new environment. What will it be like? How will the people treat me? Will I even like being there? What’s gonna happen there? What will they expect of me? What if I say or do something stupid?
Relax. You’re among friends.
Our goal is to simply give you a safe and exciting place to gather with others and explore the Christian faith. If you come and don’t “buy what we’re selling”, that’s cool. We hope you will have such an enjoyable experience that you’ll want to come back and hang out with us anyway. We believe that God wants us to love the people around us whether they agree with us or not.
We will never single you out or embarrass you. You can get as involved as you want to be, or feel free to remain anonymous. The choice is yours. You can stand when we stand and sing when we sing, or just sit in the back row and observe. The choice is yours. Our goal is to simply give you the experience and information you need to make the decisions that are right for you. We won’t pull any punches … but we won’t lay any unwelcome expectations on you either. Our Sunday worship service will simply be a gift to you. Take it or leave it.
Please don’t feel the need to dress up – or dress down. I want to be distraction free, so I will simply wear what is comfortable for me. You can put on the ritz or wear jeans and a t-shirt. All we ask is that you wear something.
Got questions, our Bridge Crew is easily identifiable and there to answer any question you have. No question is stupid. We welcome the opportunity to serve you.
Our Sunday morning worship experience is a good starting point for most people. We meet at 10420 M-140 Hwy in South Haven. Service times are 8:30 / 10:00 and 11:30 in the morning and last about 75 minutes each. There will be contemporary music, an easy-to-understand message and other “stuff” all designed to help you have an encounter with God. Our Bridge Kids programs run at the same time – the 8:30am service is for Babies (birth-3 years old) and our 10:00 and 11:30am programs are for all children (birth – 5th grade). Click here for more info on Bridge Kids.
What about the whole offering thing? We will receive an offering at every service, but there is no expectation for everyone to participate. The offering is simply for those people who believe so strongly in what God is doing that they want to fuel the movement so it can continue to thrive and impact our community and our world. For many it is a joyful act of gratitude for what God has done in their lives and they want to see that same life brought to others.
We will have free coffee available and an environment where you can hang out and meet others. Concerned about not knowing anyone there? Well, call up some friends and invite them to come and check out LifeBridge with you. Feel free to contact us if you have any more questions. We look forward to meeting you soon.
