Dear Lifers,

You wanna do something fun? Wherever you are RIGHT NOW, raise your right fist and yell, “May the Conspiracy continue!” Now, please send me stories of how the people around you responded. 🙂

Last week we were challenged to Spend Less at Christmas and this week we are going to be talking about Giving More. That doesn’t make any sense – until we step back and remember that giving isn’t always about material things. As a matter of fact, true giving is rarely about material things. What if we took our cues from God and gave how He gave?

This Sunday, I want to encourage you to really reach out to someone that needs to hear the message of hope, the message of God’s love for them. This could be the Sunday your friend, family member or co-worker realizes for the first time what God has truly done for them and the vision He has for their lives. Someone will get saved this week. Will it be someone you have been praying for? Bring them and find out.

Join us this week to gain insight on how to give like Jesus did in order to give in powerful ways that bring life to us and to those around us. 8:30 / 10:00 and 11:30. If you would like to study ahead of time to prepare for the message, you may read John 1:1-14, Colossians 1:19-23 and Philippians 2:1-8.

If you missed the message last week and want to catch up, click here to watch. Now, check out these other LifeBridge opportunities:

Eight O’ Clock Encounter: Prayer is the FUEL for this movement of God. Some pray out loud, others pray silently. ALL are blessed by coming together to seek God on behalf of our families, our people, our community and the Church of Jesus Christ around the world. A true Christ follower doesn’t fight like the world. We fight from our knees. Join us Saturday mornings at 8am. Everyone is welcome.

Christmas Eve Service: Join us on Monday, December 24th for our first Christmas Eve service ever. We hope your whole family can come for a special event filled with music, light and love to prepare our hearts to celebrate Jesus’ birthday. The service will be held at 4:00pm with child care available for children 2yrs and younger.

Building Workday: We are making exciting progress on the office/Bridge Kids wing of the building project, but we still need your help. We are scheduling a workday for THIS Saturday December 15th starting at 9:30am. If you are able to help for a few hours or even one hour, put it on your calendar and let us know by replying to this e-mail. This will be light construction and clean up so wear grungy clothes and work gloves.

Women’s Self-Defense Class: It used to be something you heard about that was far from home. Unfortunately now, it is right here in our own town. Women are being harassed and followed. In turn, there are women all over who are unsure what to do if attacked. Please join us in The Landing at LifeBridge Church December 15 at 1:00pm to learn some self defense techniques that could potentially save your life. This class is for WOMEN ONLY, ages12 and up. Cost is $20. Contact Kristie Slentz (269-214-6601) for more details.

Beyond our walls:

Blue Christmas Service: The Christmas season is always so alive with music and lights and activity. But for those struggling with the death of a loved one, that vitality can seem to amplify the pain of loss. This service of remembrance and hope will be held at the Church of the Epiphany at 7pm Friday Dec. 14 (Click here for more details.)
