Dear Lifers,

Who likes free stuff? Me too!! This last Sunday, many of you heard me announce that LifeBridge Church is investing in YOU by purchasing a resource and offering it to every Lifer as a gift. You may have already signed up or maybe you are simply waiting for a better time. But there is no better time to take advantage of this free tool intended to help you and your loved ones grow in their faith.

RightNow Media has over 14,000 videos available! There are so many great teachers covering almost any topic you can think of. There are kids videos, Bible studies and more. There is something for everyone – no matter the age or stage in life. Simply click here and follow the instructions to take advantage of this great gift.

Hey, this last Sunday, three people gave their lives to Christ!! A couple of weeks ago five people were baptized. Our attendance has been up 75 to 80 people almost every week over last year at this time. I don’t know about you, but that tells me God is up to something big here. Lives are being changed and God is being honored. This is a great time to lean in – especially as we approach Easter. I hope you are experiencing the rich and satisfying life in Jesus. There is NOTHING better. Praise God!

Take a look below to see more great things happening that we don’t want you to miss.

Eight O’ Clock Encounter: You ever been to a church where they seem to think they know it all and have it all figured out? Well, LifeBridge isn’t one of them. We KNOW that we need the presence of God EVERY DAY!! We know that apart from Him, we are NOTHING! We gather on Saturday mornings to seek God’s presence and His power and we would love to have you join us. 8am every Saturday. No judgment, no obligation to pray out loud, no pressure. Just an amazing time worshiping and seeking God together.

Guest Speaker This Sunday: Help us welcome Marc Sprague who will share a powerful message about his own life journey and how God has transformed him through the truths we find in Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount. As always, we will enjoy the presence of God as we worship in Spirit and in truth. Sunday at 8:30, 10:00 and 11:30am.

A Journey to Uganda! Please join Jtannar Wiens, Art Tippman and Lance Stainbrook as they take us through memories and highlights from their mission trip to Uganda.  If you were a supporter of this trip, or are curious about mission trips in general, please come out to LifeBridge this Saturday at 6:30pm to hear more! Light refreshments will be provided.  Hope to see you there!

Women of Faith Spring Tea and Salad Luncheon: Let’s bid farewell to winter together at Peace Lutheran Church (06321 Blue Star Hwy) at noon on Saturday, April 6th. Bring an item to donate to the personal care pantry and be entered into a special prize drawing. Tickets are $3 and the reservation deadline is March 31. For more information and/or to order a ticket, call Theresa Bruxvoort at 515-264-8908.

Easter At LifeBridge: NOW is the time to begin preparing for Easter at LifeBridge. Begin thinking and praying about who you should invite to come and celebrate or maybe just hear for the first time that Jesus IS the resurrection and the life. Easter is usually one of our biggest days of the year and this year it doesn’t land on a spring break weekend so it may be even bigger from an attendance standpoint. I encourage you to be here a little early and consider coming to the 8:30 service if you can to make room for guests at the other two services.

Camp Scholarships: Thanks to those of you who have already contributed toward the $1,250 or so that has been raised. If you have not yet, we want to give you a few more weeks to help us get ALL 45 students to camp by making a contribution to our camp scholarship fund. You may donate by dropping a contribution in the Blessing Boxes on a Sunday (make sure it is designated for camp) or by using our easy Pushpay tool through either the website or on the app. Make sure you select “Camp Scholarship” camp in the “fund” menu.

Outside our walls:

Chamber of Commerce Community EXPO: The Expo is an important part of the Chamber’s Think Local program, which is intended to inspire residents to THINK LOCAL when shopping, banking, getting insurance, buying a car, or planning their charitable giving. This event provides an opportunity for residents to learn what goods and services are available in their own community and to interact one-on-one with business and community leaders. Many of the businesses also present job openings that day. Come and see us at the LifeBridge booth for free coffee or a high five while you are there. The Community Expo will be held on Saturday, April 13th at South Haven High School from 10am-2pm. Click here for more info.

Speaker Series of South Haven: Want to get more involved in the local “conversation”? The South Haven Speaker Series strives to provide speakers who will bring innovative ideas and perspectives surrounding issues or concerns associated with our own community. On Thursday, April 11, Ryan Kilpatrick will address obstacles we are facing and discuss possible solutions to providing affordable housing in the South Haven area. The presentation will be held in the Integrated Learning Center at South Haven High School. Doors open at 6:45 and the presentation begins at 7:30.
