Let me start with a public service announcement: Don’t forget this Saturday night to set your clocks forward one hour before you go to bed. Woohoo!! The first sign of spring…Daylight savings! Or actually, just Daylight Saving, since it is not plural!
Anyway, you surely don’t want to miss church this Sunday. During the 10:00 and 11:30 services we will be celebrating with baptisms. At LifeBridge, we get VERY excited about lives being changed by the power of the Holy Spirit. Come and celebrate with us AND join us for heartfelt worship and a word from God’s Word that is sure to encourage you and prepare you for the life God has for you.
Speaking of baptism, are you ready to be baptized? It’s not too late to dive in and be baptized this Sunday. Not sure if you are ready…or even what baptism is all about? Click here to read about baptism at LifeBridge. And if you want to get in on it for this week or you have more questions, contact Pastor Milan as soon as you can!
Now, here’s more of what is happening at LifeBridge:
Eight O’ Clock Encounter: You ever been to a church where they seem to think they know it all and have it all figured out? Well, LifeBridge isn’t one of them. We KNOW that we need the presence of God EVERY DAY!! We know that apart from Him, we are NOTHING! We gather on Saturday mornings to seek God’s presence and His power. Curious?…come and check it out. 8am every Saturday. No judgment, no obligation to pray out loud, no pressure. Just an amazing time seeking God together.
CR Guest Speaker: Celebrate Recovery/Freedom is inviting the whole church to join them for a special event featuring guest speaker Emily Klotz on Friday March 8th at 7pm. I have watched part of her story on video and I am telling you, it is a POWERFUL story of forgiveness and healing!! You do not want to miss this event. It will be a great opportunity to invite a friend for a night of music and inspiration.
Night of Worship and Prayer: We would love to have you join us this Sunday evening March 10th for a life-giving, extended worship night at LBC from 6:30 – 7:40pm. It will include, powerful prayer for personal needs, encouragement from God’s Word, supportive group prayer, inspirational worship and Holy Communion. You don’t want to miss this encounter. There will be no child care provided and children cannot be left unattended.
Building Workday: Are you excited about expanding the space we have to reach and serve more children and their families? I am!! We are nearing the final stages of the renovation process to open 5,000 more square feet of ministry space. On Saturday, March 16th we plan to drywall this entire new section of the building. If you have even marginal experience with drywall and would be willing to help out, we would be very grateful. We have team leaders, now we need helpers. Call the office, leave a message and we will contact you to discuss the details.
Thailand Mission Team: Please don’t forget to continue lifting the mission team in Thailand this week. Lucie and Holger Jerch are leading the team (mostly Living Room Café staff) which include Olivia Price, Odalys Morales, Hailey Conklin and Jessi Flath. While they are there, they are training and working with the coffee shop staff, helping at the South Thailand outreach. They are also working at the sustainable farm, going to the school outreach in Loas, visiting an orphanage in Mayanmar, learning about the red light district ministry and going to the outreach in Chiang Khong to help with children’s ministry. Please lift this team in your prayers while they are gone until this Sunday. Go to the Jerch’s Facebook to see updates and learn how you can pray while they are away.
Camp Scholarships: This year we already have 45 students signed up for summer camp at Lake Ann. We take students to Lake Ann camp because of the amazing experience they have and the camp’s commitment to developing the faith of each student. A stellar camp is not cheap. For some families, it is difficult to afford an experience of this level of excellence, especially if they have multiple kids. Help us get ALL 45 students there by making a contribution to our camp scholarship fund. You may donate by dropping a contribution in the Blessing Boxes on a Sunday (make sure it is designated for camp) or by using our easy Pushpay tool through either the website or on the app. Make sure you select “Camp Scholarship” camp in the “fund” menu.
