In July 2011, God put a compelling and beautiful vision before my wife, Jen, and I to birth a church in South Haven to reach the unchurched and de-churched people of the area. In January 2012 we moved to South Haven from Adrian, MI and began assembling a launch team. On September 23, 2012, this little team of 39 people launched LifeBridge Church and we have been on this amazing journey since. We are having a blast leading this gathering of Christ-followers to build relational bridges to people far from God.

I am from the Kalamazoo area and have spent most of my life in South West Michigan. We have been on this journey with our three amazing sons and are excited to be able to raise our family here as we are on mission together. We love South Haven and have no desire to go or be anywhere else – except for vacations in which case the Caribbean in the winter is an ideal choice. I enjoy playing just about any sport and love a good beach day.

I personally have been in vocational ministry leadership for over 23 years and enjoy it more today than when I started. I just can’t get enough of watching people discover new life, transformed by the grace and power of God through Jesus Christ. I love what God has allowed me to do and I love my church.

Thanks for taking the time to check out my bio…

I am blessed to be a blessing to you by serving as the Church Administrator and Treasurer (along with all of those other miscellaneous duties that are inferred in my job description) for LifeBridge Church.

I was born and raised in Chicago and came to southwest Michigan as I started high-school. I have lived and worked all over the country doing software development but came home to the South Haven area 5 years ago and have served with LifeBridge since its pre-launch days in mid-2012. In my “spare time”, I enjoy astrophotography, genealogy, and spending time with my grandchildren.

Most days, you can find me at the LifeBridge office and I am happy to help in any way that I am able… I am truly blessed to bless!

I’ve lived in the South Haven area for all but 2 years of my life. My dad was a “Casco” Farmer. I have fond memories of going to a two-room country schoolhouse thru 3rd grade. When I was 12 years old Dad took a job managing a farm in Novi, MI and then a year later, one in Lexington, MI. While living in Lexington I accepted Christ as my Savior. I believe that God had us move so that I could hear that special message and ask Him to be my Lord and Savior.

It has been my pleasure and honor to be able to serve Him in various ways over the years. In middle school we had a Christian group come to our church and perform the musical “Tell it Like it is. I was in awe of the music, the story and especially the piano player. I said to myself; “That is what I want to do when I grow up.” In 7th grade I started accompanying on the piano. My friend, Marie would sing solos at church. I thank her for challenging me to use my talent for the Lord. Since then I have played at several churches. I was thinking that God had answered my little girl’s prayer when the church added drums and guitars to the worship team. But God had better ideas. I was asked to play piano for a Christian Traveling Choir. Turns out I had heard their first concert of “Tell it Like it is.”

Currently I am serving LifeBridge with my accounting and bookkeeping skills. You will also see me at the Bridge Kids Check-In station.

P.S. I love my church family.

I have this treasure (Jesus) in a jar of clay (myself) to show that this all surpassing power is from God, and not from myself. I was born and raised in the Amazon rainforest along the banks of various river tributaries. Through the currents of life I learned: We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed, perplexed but not in despair, persecuted but not abandoned, struck down but not destroyed.

Its a delight and honor to serve at LifeBridge with its fertile ground during this season in life because I have been appointed by Christ to bear fruit! The blossoms of good fruit lie in serving as LIFEGROUP captain, co-leader for the GO TEAM missions ministry, MEDIC on the Safety team and as a volunteer at THE LIVING ROOM.

I am also serving in a missions capacity where the harvest is plentiful but the workers are few in the Loretto district of Peru. I lead and coordinate teams to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ by using words and deeds to all creation through conferences, church plants, construction, and dental/medical outreach through Amazon Outreach.

My greatest Joys lie in my roles as wife to Jon, mother to Mitchell, Carly, Jackson, Madison and any extra friends or family we may have that day as well as Ministry and Missions. I find being a part of of these good works the Lord prepared in advance to do is the adventure he has destined me for. Watching and actively taking part in the unfolding adventure of Grace, faith, and love is where I am most comfortable.

I believe he created us to worship him by doing! On the great days and hard days you’ll find me:
Sailing with Jon, having conversations with my kids, giving hugs, living on the edge, doing anything crafty or creative, planning “gatherings”, re-purposing old junk into something new, traveling to faraway places, reaching out to a stranger, being passionate and sometimes to loudly, being still and knowing he is God, Enjoying great food with friends, encouraging others.

The life verses that guided my bio are as follows 1Cor 4;7,8,9. John 15:16, John 15:8, Luke 10:1-3, Mark 16:15, Eph 2:10 and Heb. 10:25

My wife Rachel and I were missionaries for 5 years before coming to LifeBridge. God gave me a vision to disciple families in the order of Deuteronomy 6. It is my passion to see families take up the role for home discipleship, teaching their children in every moment of every day to love the Lord with all their heart, soul and mind.

I grew up in Southwest Michigan and it is a great pleasure to be able to come back to the area and serve the community. Rachel and I have been married for 10 years and have 4 awesome children; 3 boys and our little princess.

We are so excited to be able to work with the kids in Bridge Kids and extend the hope of a rich and satisfying life to them at a young age. We also want to connect with the families of LifeBridge and assist them in anyway to raise their family to be God followers.

Stacey Jo Wiens

LifeBridge Youth Ministry Leader
E-mail Stacey Jo Wiens

I was born and raised in Bangor. I’ve been a stay at home mom for 9 years, two boys age 9 and 6. The Lord gave me a passion for the youth when I was 19. The Lord brought me to LifeBridge 3 years ago and after 8 years of being a stay at home mom, the Lord opened the door to help start a youth ministry here at LifeBridge.

I see the youth as the future of the church. My heart is to see the youth in our church and community come to have a deep relationship with God and know who they are in Christ to create a strong foundation in their life.

Hello everyone, my name is Steve Wood and I am the Team Leader of Guest Services.

At LifeBridge, the goal of our Guest Services Team is to provide you with a worship experience that is both relaxing and comfortable. My team of over 40 volunteers and I are honored that you have chosen to come and worship with us the one true God and we are pleased to serve you and make your worship experience as enjoyable as possible. We have Guest Service team members placed throughout our Lobby and Auditorium to assist you any way we can.

I was born and raised in Adrian Michigan….“GO MAPLES!!!” and moved to South Haven a couple of years ago. While living in Adrian I attended Crossroads Community Church where, for eleven years, I was the Leader of Guest Services. I started at LifeBridge at its infancy stage back in 2011 as part of the Launch Team. I am the proud father of three adult children and the big smile on my face comes from my two beautiful grandchildren.

As a first time guest, you will be welcomed at the door as if being welcomed into your neighbor’s home. In fact, we at LifeBridge are your neighbors. We have been a part of the South Haven community since the fall of 2012.

I personally invite you to come to LifeBridge and worship with us and look forward to seeing you soon. “Welcome to Sunday!!!”
